The Netherlands based Perfetti van Melle company(Behind Mentos and Chupa Chups, among a few others) has just announced that it will be premiering a new and stylish gum line known as Aqua Kiss. Two flavors have been announced, Pacific and Hawaiian. The idea behind the redesign is to increase product visibility and make the brand more eye catching.The idea is interesting yet from a first glance this new direction seems to share a lot with stylish Five gum that Wrigley introduced in the summer of 2007. It'll be interesting to see how this new twist on the Mentos gum line will be marketed and received by the public.
